Course Work: The second golf course at Coto de Caza, the 4,000-acre planned community in south Orange County, is under construction and expected to open next spring. When the so-called South Course is completed, Coto will be the first private country club community in Orange County to offer 36 holes of championship golf.

“Anyone who has played our North Course knows how challenging and beautiful it is,” said Tom Martin, vice president of sales and marketing for the company. “The intent of the design of our second course was to create a completely different golf experience.”

Joining the club costs $20,000, with $5,000 down and three additional $5,000 payments due each anniversary for three years.
