Bulgaria Communist Freed

SOFIA, Bulgaria —
President Zhelyu Zhelev has pardoned former Communist Prime Minister Georgi Atanasov, who reportedly is in poor health, and freed him from prison. Atanasov was convicted of Communist-era crimes.
