That compares with profit of $3.4 million, or 15 cents a share, for the comparable 1993 quarter, which included an extraordinary gain of $627,000. Sales dipped to $15.2 million from $15.4 million. For the first six months of 1994, profit fell to $1.1 million, or 12 cents a share, from $4.4 million, or 20 cents a share, for the same period last year. Sales were down 2%, to $30.7 million from $31.2 million.
