Autopsies Aren’t Easy for the Loved Ones

Re “Autopsies Are Easy, Red Tape Is Hard,” by Robin Abcarian (July 3): Anyone who has had to grant permission for an autopsy on a loved one, will be devastated by such remarks as “slices open chests, then snips away at the ribs with garden shears” and “blood and guts . . .” and “stench of autopsy.”
