Partnership Bets on Electronic Wagering: NTN Communications, a Carlsbad, Calif.-based interactive TV company, has sold a 50% stake in its IWN subsidiary to Command Performance Network Ltd. for $10 million. NTN has been developing interactive programming and technology for the horse racing, parimutuel and gaming industries. CPN is headed by former CBS and Turner executive Robert Wussler. Wussler said the partners will be looking to develop interactive technologies for the wagering industries through different platforms, including cable TV, telephony and satellites.
