L.A. Theme Song

One of the few mistakes made during the 1984 Olympics was the City Council’s rejection of Randy Newman’s “I Love L.A.” as the official song for our city. This street-level, upbeat tribute made us feel good every time we heard it.
Since the collective opinions of our town have taken a nose-dive in the last 10 years, embracing “I Love L.A.” might be just the positive kick we need to start our spirits back up again.
Los Angeles was a great place to live in 1984, and it’s a great place to live today. Let’s make “I Love L.A.” official.
