Eking Out a Living
* Good people of California, (speaking on behalf of illegal immigrants), we ask you to consider, who will bus the dishes, pick the fruit and mow the lawns if we are driven out? We are humble, working people, striving to earn our daily bread and hoping for a better life for our children.
Do you propose to “cleanse” California of its brown people? Christians, please reflect. Who is more your neighbor than the poor working men and women who clean your houses and prepare your food?
Please work with us to make this a better state, not a cruel and hardhearted one.
