Power Rangers on New Saban Record Labels: The marketing appeal of a major children’s icon will be tested further when Burbank-based Saban Entertainment--producers of the “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” television program--this week unveils two record labels associated with the show. One of the new labels--to be called Saban’s Cool Kids Records--will produce several children-oriented recording projects based on the Power Rangers. The label’s first three releases are scheduled for Setember, 1994, and will include “The Power Rangers Storybook and Readalong Casette,” which features material from the debut episode of the television series.
