World IN BRIEF : MOROCCO : Top Kuwaiti Among 44 Dead in Air Crash

The victims of a Royal Air Maroc plane crash that killed all 44 people aboard included an American and a Kuwaiti prince, the airline said. The ATR-42 twin-turboprop aircraft, flying from the southern city of Agadir to Casablanca, crashed Sunday night 10 minutes after takeoff. The 40 passengers included eight Italian tourists, five Frenchmen and four Dutch citizens, the state-owned airline said. The four-member crew also was killed. The dead included a Kuwaiti prince identified as Ali al Mahmoud al Jabir al Sabah, 38, brother of the defense minister. It was not known what caused the accident.
