Bird Medical Technologies Inc. announced the appointment of Robert T. Corbett as executive vice president. In this new position, Corbett, 50, will be responsible for dealing with strategic issues and other matters related to corporate growth. Most recently, Corbett was the managing partner of Crimson Capital Co., a private investment bank. Corbett has been been on the Palm Springs-based firm’s board since 1991. Bird Medical manufactures and markets a broad line of respiratory care equipment and disposable products to hospitals and other health care providers worldwide.
