41 to Be Charged in Quebec Drug Sting

MONTREAL —
Forty-one people arrested in a Quebec sting operation will be charged with laundering more than $73 million in drug money, police said Tuesday.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said the arrests capped a four-year undercover operation in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and abroad. In addition to money-laundering charges, 26 people face charges of conspiracy for cocaine trafficking and 12 will be charged with importing and distributing hashish from Jamaica.
