BRIEFLY : Volunteers: Meals Drivers Needed
A local Meals on Wheels program needs help delivering meals to homebound people.
The Santa Monica/Malibu Meals on Wheels seeks volunteers to deliver hot noon meals and cold evening meals to as many as 14 people between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Because of a shortage of volunteer drivers, the program is placing those requesting the service on a waiting list, often for up to three weeks. Information: (310) 394-7558.
