At the Forefront of So Many Vital Issues

How refreshing to read of a woman lawyer in our community who is doing such excellent and necessary work not only for women in Los Angeles but for those throughout the state (“A Woman’s Place,” Aug. 21).

The work of the California Women’s Law Center is at the forefront of so many vital issues affecting women on a daily basis. It is much too rare that well-deserved recognition is given to leaders in our community.
