Ready to Celebrate: The annual El Grito ceremonies will be held Thursday night on the steps of City Hall. City workers will close off Spring Street between Temple and 1st streets in front of City Hall from 7 to 10 p.m. today. That portion of Spring Street will also be closed from 10 a.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday.

In addition, the bus lane on Spring Street between Temple and 1st streets will be closed from 10 a.m. today to 5 a.m. Friday; 1st Street between Main Street and Broadway will be closed from 4 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday.

Spring Street between 1st and 2nd streets and the southernmost lane of 1st Street--between Broadway and Main Street--will be closed from 10 a.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday.

MTA buses will be rerouted during the affected periods.
