Defiant Crimean lawmakers returned to their Parliament building in Simferopol, Ukraine, after a presidential guard that blocked the assembly quietly withdrew. The deputies quickly convened a session 48 hours after President Yuri Meshkov disbanded Parliament and proclaimed presidential rule.
