WATTS : Free Talk to Focus on Prenatal Care

The Watts Health Foundation will offer a free prenatal presentation Thursday at the Watts Health Center, 10300 S. Compton Ave.

The event is one of the programs offered during the foundation’s Latino Awareness Month. Presentations on how to maintain a healthy pregnancy will be given in Spanish and English.

On Friday, the foundation will present an exhibit by Huntington Beach artist Richard Perez from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the United Health Plan, 4200 E. Compton Blvd. The event will include a cultural awareness presentation by Eddie Farias, an outreach coordinator at the Northeast Community Clinic in Pasadena. A Mexican folk dance troupe from Veracruz will perform at 2 p.m.
