John Wayne Bobbitt was convicted of a second domestic battery charge Tuesday and ordered to serve 30 days in jail by a judge who called him a bully.

Kristina Elliott testified that her former fiance twisted her arm behind her back and threw her against an apartment wall May 6.

Bobbitt served 12 days of a 15-day sentence this month for battering Elliott in a separate incident.

“One thing is apparent and that is that you are a bully,” Municipal Judge Ron D. Parraguirre said. “I don’t know how we’re going to get this across to you that this is unacceptable behavior.”

Bobbitt gained national attention when his wife, Lorena Bobbitt, sliced off his penis last year, saying he had sexually assaulted her. The penis was surgically reattached. Lorena Bobbitt was found not guilty by reason of insanity and filed for divorce.

Parraguirre sentenced Bobbitt to 90 days in jail with 60 days suspended and placed him on probation for one year, during which time he must abstain from alcohol and receive counseling. Bobbitt’s attorney, Michael Stein, said he will appeal.
