MELBOURNE, Australia —
Victoria state’s most luxurious brothel, the Daily Planet, is preparing to make an initial public offering of shares to investors, the Age newspaper reported. A listed brothel would be unique in Australia and one of only a handful in the world, the paper said.
The brothel employs 80 sex workers, 14 towel boys and six barmen. Directors said they want to issue about 530 units priced at $5,550 each. The Australia Stock Exchange’s national listing committee said it hasn’t received an application yet.
