The remains of an American pilot killed during World War II have been found in Indonesia’s Irian Jaya province, the official Antara news agency said. Villagers found the skeletal remains inside the wreckage of a fighter plane in a heavily forested area, the agency quoted a local military official as saying. The pilot’s remains were flown to the United States. His identity was not known.
