Volvo Recalls 32,000 Cars: The Swedish auto maker said its 850 Turbo series of 1994 model cars requires modification to keep the accelerator mechanism from freezing and jamming in cold weather and high humidity. The company said an 850 Turbo owner in Canada drove off the road when the accelerator mechanism froze. Owners in North America and Sweden have also reported several problems with the engine in cold weather, it added. The problem was eliminated in the 1995 design of the car, a spokesman said.
