Wonderware Corp.: The Irvine software company reported that its third-quarter profit more than doubled to $2.1 million, or 16 cents a share, from $1 million, or 9 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Revenue increased 68% to $9.4 million from $5.6 million. For the first nine months of the fiscal year, the company’s profit rose to $5.2 million, or 40 cents a share, from $2.4 million, or 23 cents a share, for the comparable period last year. Nine-month revenue was up 69% to $24.7 million from $14.6 million.
