FileNet Corp.: The Costa Mesa document imaging company said profit for the third quarter increased 77% to $3.9 million, or 34 cents a share, from $2.2 million, or 20 cents a share, for the third quarter last year. Revenue grew 7% to $42.6 million from $40 million. Year-to-date profit rose to $10.4 million, or 89 cents a share, from $3.8 million, or 35 cents a share, for the first nine months last year. Revenue gained 12% to $126.2 million for the nine-month period from $113.0 million.
