Killer of Swan Ordered to Shovel Manure at Zoo

SYRACUSE, N.Y. —
A teen-ager must shovel manure at the zoo for 350 hours, stay home nights and weekends for nine months and give up smoking for killing Obie, a popular swan that he attacked during a drunken visit to a pond.
Dan Doney was also ordered Tuesday to serve three years probation.
