Farmers Insurance Group Names New Chief: Martin D. Feinstein, 46, will move up from senior vice president as of Jan. 1, the Los Angeles-based insurer said. He will take over as chairman and chief executive from Leo E. Denlea Jr., 62. California’s third-largest auto and home insurer also announced an internal reorganization plan to make its life, commercial, auto and homeowners insurance units more independent.
