It’s Trees, Please, in Laguna Beach

Share

What has made Laguna unique down through the years are: first, the people who created this delightful place; and second, the trees.

The founders laid the town out beautifully with Heisler Park and lovely vistas.

In the ‘70s, people gave us our lively Main Beach “window to the sea” and Pines Park and a mandate for a small town with no large hotels.

But in last analyses, the great-granddaddy of gifts is our natural greenbelt as the ultimate barrier to Los Angeles, which is knocking at our door eager to gobble us up!

So when you choose your favorite candidates, first and foremost be sure of his and her commitment to our (natural) greenbelt.
