Animals Crowd Runways, Airline Cancels Flights

WINDHOEK, Namibia —
Air Namibia, the national airline, is canceling flights to rural areas for technical reasons: Cows, goats and villagers are crowding the runways.
The airline on Friday declared one rural airport unsafe for landing. A decision is pending about two others, including the former South African air base at Ondangwa, the only airport in the north of the southwest African nation.
