A Push for Casinos in Israel: Israel could become a major gambling center for the Middle East, generating up to $1 billion a year with ancillary services, foreign experts said at an international business conference in Jerusalem. Israel’s perceived stability has already attracted the attention of such gaming industry developers as Donald Trump and Sol Kerzner, according to Salomon Bros. The Israeli government has already begun discussions on whether to allow gambling in the Jewish state.
