Rexhall Doubles Profits in Latest 9-Month Period

Rexhall Industries Inc., a Santa Clarita-based maker of recreational vehicles, reported strong earnings and revenue growth in the latest quarter and nine-month period, a result of the continued success of its Rexair and Aerbus wide-body motor homes.

The company also cited an improving economy and an increased number of dealers carrying Rexhall motor homes as reasons for the improved results.

In the third quarter ended Sept. 30, Rexhall earned $513,000, up 75% from the $293,000 it earned a year earlier. Revenue rose 80%, to $14 million from $7.8 million.

Rexhall’s nine-month profit was $1.57 million, more than double the $741,000 in net income of a year before. Revenue totaled $35.9 million, up 71% from $21 million.
