USC punter John Stonehouse has regained the lead in his battle with UCLA’s Darren Schager for the Pac-10 punting lead.

Stonehouse, who had a 76-yard kick Saturday at Washington State--longest in the conference this year--averaged 48.3 yards on eight punts and is the Pac-10 leader at 43.7.

For the record: An item in Tuesday’s Daily Report mistakenly said that quarterback Rob Johnson’s completion percentage, after his 20-for-31 day at Washington State last Saturday, had gone up to 67.5%. In fact, his percentage actually fell slightly, from 68.2%.
