Judge Postpones Retrial of GM Pickup Case: A Georgia state judge has indefinitely postponed the retrial of a lawsuit against General Motors Corp. alleging that poor design led to a Snellville, Ga., teen-ager’s death when his pickup truck exploded. Proceedings had been scheduled to begin Monday in Fulton County State Court. In the original trial last year, a jury awarded Thomas and Elaine Moseley $105.2 million after deciding that their son’s pickup was unsafe. The Georgia Court of Appeals in June reversed the verdict, setting the stage for a retrial.
