ICONOGRAPHY
Chico Marx isn’t around, so I’ll be the one to ask. I’ve been looking at the upper right-hand corner of Page 2 of the Sunday Calendar for months now, and I’d like to know:
Why a duck?
CARLO PANNO
Burbank
Editor’s note: When I bought the redesign, the duck came with it.
I have been troubled by the picture of a skeleton head with a pencil in its mouth in the upper right-hand corner of the Letters page.
It seems to be a very dark and dismal picture for this section of the paper. What is the reason for it and can’t you change it?

Ditto for the pencil guy.
