Youths Can Whistle While They Work

Basketball enthusiasts between 13 and 17 can learn to become certified basketball officials through a series of free classes sponsored by the city Department of Recreation and Parks.

Those who complete the course can become referees for youth basketball leagues at local recreation centers.

The class schedule is:
