LONDON —
British Customs officials and Dutch police confiscated more than half a ton of cocaine with an estimated street value of $80 million, a spokesman said Saturday.
British customs tracked the consignment after it arrived in Britain from Curacao, off the Venezuelan coast, Nov. 3.
The drugs, concealed in boxes of office supplies, were transferred to a ferry, and Dutch police arrested two people Saturday.
