Kellogg’s Share of Cereal Market Down: Kellogg Co. said its share of the competitive breakfast cereal market averaged 35.7% over the past year, down from 36.9% a year ago. But company officials said they are optimistic that new products will allow it to remain profitable. Among products unveiled: “Temptations,” an “indulgence” cereal aimed at adults; Rice Krispies Treats marshmallow squares; Pop-Tarts Minis, a miniature version of Kellogg’s popular Pop-Tarts pastries, and Eggo cinnamon toast waffles.
