Laser Disc Distributor, Geffen Video Enter Pact
Image Entertainment Inc., a Chatsworth distributor of movies and other recorded entertainment on laser disc, has entered a multiyear licensing agreement with Geffen Home Video, a leader in home video music programming.
The agreement calls for Image to release all upcoming titles from Geffen on laser disc and handle all sales and marketing for the laser discs. The first Geffen laser disc release, Image said, will be “Hell Freezes Over,” a live recording of the Eagles rock group.
