GLENDALE : Thanksgiving Feast for Seniors Is Today

Share

At $1.60 a plate, it’s one of the better pre-Thanksgiving Day meal deals in town.

And that’s just the suggested donation. Senior citizens are invited to participate in the city of Glendale’s annual Thanksgiving Feast today, when a traditional roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings will be served.

The lunch, sponsored by the city’s Parks, Recreation and Community Services nutritional meals program, is available to adults 60 years or older and their spouses.

The dinners, served at 11:30 a.m., will be held at three centers operated by the city: the Adult Recreation Center, 201 E. Colorado Blvd.; Maple Park Recreation Center, 820 E. Maple St., and Sparr Heights Senior Center, 1613 Glencoe Way.
