Bus Plunges Into River After Collision; 45 Die

NEW DELHI —
A passenger bus collided with another vehicle and plunged into a river in eastern India on Thursday, killing 45 people, United News of India reported.
The accident occurred about 870 miles east of New Delhi.
The bus hit another vehicle, lost control and went into the Mahanadi River. Among the 45 victims were 12 people in the other vehicle who died when the bus hit it.
