A Parody? Sure. Funny? Well . . .

Poor dears, feeling lonely and wanted to generate a bit of mail? Certainly there can be no other reason to print Gene Weingarten’s parody, “But Then, Women Can Find Their Own Socks” (Nov. 1).

Just don’t expect all the hate mail to come from humorless women who failed to get the point. I got the joke, and I still hated it. You can expect some mail from humorless men, however, who will want to elect Mr. Weingarten President or possibly God.
