Another park will be added to the city today at a dedication ceremony in the Westhills development area.

Developers are giving La Habra the 19-acre Vista Del Valle Park, which is about half a mile south of the Imperial Highway and Idaho Street intersection.

The hilly park is part of a development project in which Pacific Coast Homes and Greystone Homes are building 156 single-family houses. Construction is expected to be complete by spring, but the park won’t be ready for use until September, developers said.

The city will be responsible for maintaining the park.

The public is invited to attend the dedication ceremony at 10 a.m.

City Manager Lee Risner said the park “is very beautiful. We think it adds to the quality of life here.”
