Ann E. Kalman; Advertising Executive

Ann E. Kalman, 53, an advertising executive and former vice president of CBS television. Ms. Kalman grew up in Illinois and was educated at the University of Illinois. She also took courses and taught at Arizona State and Pepperdine universities. She served as advertising and public relations director for the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix and moved to Los Angeles, where she supervised media planning and buying for several advertising firms. She was most recently executive vice president of Kalman Communications, established by her husband, Jerry Kalman, in 1986. On Dec. 16 in Pacific Palisades of breast cancer.
