Jorgensen Reports Revenue Up 25%

Brea metal distributor Earle M. Jorgensen Co. reported a profit of $6.4 million for its third fiscal quarter, which ended Dec. 31. That contrasted with a loss of $3.1 million for the same period a year earlier. Revenue was up 25%, to $258.8 million from $207.7 million. Nine-month profit totaled $13.3 million, contrasted with a loss of $6.3 million for the same period a year earlier. Nine-month revenue increased 23%, to $744.3 million from $607 million.
