CorVel Corp.: The Irvine medical-services company posted a profit of $1.5 million, or 33 cents a share, for its third fiscal quarter, which ended Dec. 31. That compared to earnings of $1.2 million, or 26 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Revenue rose 19% to $24.7 million from $20.8 million. For the first nine months of its fiscal year, the company said it earned $4.3 million, or 94 cents a share, up from $3.1 million, or 72 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Nine-month revenue was up 18% to $69.7 million from $59.1 million.
