On-Line N.Y. Yellow Pages Unveiled: Nynex Corp. and Prodigy Services Co. introduced the interactive Yellow Pages available through the Prodigy on-line computer service. The interactive directory lets customers look up phone numbers and advertisements of businesses in any of the 280 Yellow Pages directories of the New York metropolitan area through customers’ accounts with Prodigy. Nynex is the New York-based regional telephone company. The service is one of the first on-line Yellow Pages in the country and has more than 1,500 advertisements already, the companies said. Sound and video will be added soon, they said, adding that the service will be expanded to Boston and eastern Massachusetts later this year.
