After 5 Years, King Is Reinstated in Lesotho

MASERU, Lesotho —
King Moshoeshoe II, dethroned five years ago by a military regime, was reinstated Wednesday before a crowd of several thousand here in the capital of his southern African mountain kingdom.
Moshoeshoe’s son abdicated as King Letsie III to allow the return, resolving a power struggle with the democratically elected government that succeeded the military regime.
