Lumonics Corp., a producer of laser-marking systems for identifying products in the electronics, pharmaceutical, automotive and other fields, has moved its Ventura County headquarters to Oxnard from its former home in Camarillo.

The unit will henceforth be known as Lumonics / Oxnard Operations. It has moved into a 44,000-square-foot building on Lombard Street.

Lumonics / Oxnard’s parent claims to be the world’s largest producer of systems that use lasers for lot-process control, after-market traceability, expiration dating and anti-theft controls.
