Countywide : Aid Being Offered for Flood Damage

State and federal disaster agencies are continuing to offer assistance to residents whose homes sustained damage in the January floods.
Information on help offered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the California Office of Emergency Services is available by calling (800) 525-0321. For TDD devices, used by those with impaired hearing, callers should dial (800) 660-8005.
To register for assistance, residents can call (800) 462-9029, or (800) 462-7585 for TDD devices.
The California State Bar has set up a hot line to help flood victims get information about legal help to recover the cost of flood damage.
The State Bar will provide information about aid programs, but may not offer advice or recommend specific attorneys. The State Bar aid hot line is (800) 435-6634.
