BETWEEN HEAVEN AND HELL AND AIN’T

Calendar sidesteps the use of the word hell on the cover of its “Sneaks ‘95” issue, but it’s OK to use ain’t (Jan. 8).

Websters’ dictionary defines ain’t as “more common in less-educated speech.”

Just what our society needs: less-educated speech!
