Ropak Corp.: The company said Wednesday that two members of its board of directors resigned last month.

Terry L. Nagelvoort and John H. Stafford both resigned effective Jan. 23. The Fullerton maker of plastic and metal packaging said neither Nagelvoort nor Stafford gave a reason for their resignations.

Ropak also said that the board decided Feb. 1 to increase its size from seven to nine members. All four vacant positions have been filled by officers of Linpac Mouldings Ltd. of Birmingham, England, or its American affiliate, Linpac Inc.

The new directors are John L. Dougherty, Robert Alexander Lang, Nigel Victor David Roe and John L. Thorp.

The company decided to give Linpac a presence on its board in recognition of Linpac’s 58% stake in the company. Ropak shares fell 25 cents Wednesday, closing at $10.50 in Nasdaq trading.
