Snag Postpones Navy Missile Defense Test

WASHINGTON —
The Navy postponed an attempt to shoot down a missile with a missile due to technical problems Friday as the White House and Republicans fought over whether to revive the “Star Wars” missile defense program.
The test off the Atlantic coast, scrubbed due to problems with NASA radar, is part of a scaled-down Clinton Administration Ballistic Missile Defense plan.
