Dispute Stalls Chrysler Minivan Project: Discord between China and the auto maker over rights to Chrysler Corp. technology is jeopardizing the auto maker’s $1-billion plan to build minivans in that nation, company President Robert Lutz said. Lutz said China wants to allow other Chinese auto makers to freely use Chrysler minivan technology without Chrysler’s control. Chrysler is willing to scrap the project over the issue, Lutz said at the Chicago Auto Show.
